To walk the paths of “Who am I?” —this hidden treasure, this radiant intelligence. To be reborn, to reestablish a true and complete relationship with oneself, and, from there, with the world ❤︎
Excerpts from or inspired by*The Bhagavad Gita*, by Colette Poggi
First and foremost, wonder. The beauty that unfolds at every moment—a harmonious whole to be captured, to be revealed. That enchantment of creating, capturing, and using light to paint a picture. Photography is an act of love. With my camera in hand, all my senses open up to connect with the subtle and reveal our inner worlds. In that moment, immersed in the flow, I am connected to something greater than myself. There is this magical connection that opens up when we allow ourselves to be swept away by the experience. Everything is energy—the energy of the place that welcomes us, chosen with care, and our own energy, along with all our emotions in that moment. All of this comes together to form an image. I know I am serving something greater than myself when I open these spaces. Photography, like a prayer. And then, alchemy—the magical act of turning lead into gold—that is, the way we look at ourselves, what comes to the surface, what the experience or the image heals and reconciles.
Once a month, I share my current thoughts, inspirations, poems, projects, and photos, as well as a few photo sessions I’m offering while traveling around France
