a unique support and illumination

a living, sensory, holistic, and alchemical bodily experience
to celebrate, see and reconnect with yourself

My name is Lauren,

and I am a woman on a journey.
As a photographer and artist connected to the living world, a facilitator of spaces encouraging discovery and transformation, my purpose is to guide you towards reconnecting with your true essence.
I have been shaped by years of experiences dedicated to healing, reconnecting with the Self, and the quest for meaning. My personal journey has become a sacred initiation, at the core of my deepest truths and wounds, in an ongoing process of alchemical transmutation. Initiated into various world wisdoms and medicines, I have developed an intuitive, embodied, and subtle approach to facilitation, where the body, emotions, and presence are at the heart of my practice.
Each session combines intuitive guidance (enlightened by my self-knowledge tools) and photography, offering holistic and alchemical support - because by transmuting difficult emotions or situations, by shedding light on them, we find the path to our deepest essence, we restore our truth, and we reclaim our power.
My photography is an act of listening. I do not seak to lead; I seak to open a space where something pure can reveal itself. I observe, I see beyond appearances, I capture uniqueness and essence, stripped of masks and illusions, and I bring it all to light.

What it transforms

It isn't just a photoshoot; it is a journey whose traces are held within the image.
Here, the photo is not an end in itself but rather a tool to meet oneself, to see oneself differently, and to live a profound experience of embodiment.
▶︎ Honoring a stage of life, going through a shedding of the skin, laying down what is in motion internally, living a transitional experience, and turning it into a ritual
▶︎ Reconnecting with the body, letting go, stepping away from the controlled image of yourself, reclaiming your image, and meeting yourself differently - in the body, movement, and presence
▶︎ Reconnecting with your inner truth, letting your wild, true, and free nature emerge, or whatever needs to be brought to light, parts of yourself inaccessible to the mind
▶︎ Living a vibrant experience, finding a direct link to yourself, the body, nature, your path, your intuition, your truth, and restoring yourself in a more accurate, more aligned posture
"I exist, I take my place, I choose myself, I see myself"

This is for you, if...

You are going through a process of transformation, a transition, you are already engaged on a path of self-knowledge, and you are seeking inner clarity.
You are afraid of being visible or you need to reclaim your image.
You feel the call to meet yourself differently, to return to your truth, within the body, and to a deeper understanding of your life experience.
You live an urban, disconnected, highly mental life, constantly going at a hundred miles an hour.
You wish to honor your connection to nature, to beauty, to the sensitive world.
You need to release control by living a unique and embodied experience.

Testimonials

⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑

"It was late January. I was very tired. The year 2023 had brought its share of upheavals—in my body as a woman, in my life as a mother, and in my social and professional life. I wanted to have (haha) professional photos for my resume. I was holding onto an old thread—the one of duty, desire, and ability— I was aware of it, but at least it kept me anchored to something."
And then there’s the magic of nature, of water, of movement, of Lauren’s simple presence and her simple words. The anticipation. And in that presence, the flame—the one that lights the fire of the soul every day to nourish the body. The freshness of the air, the beauty of the water in winter. The magic takes hold; I am here, and the worn-out layers of the past year fall away. I am simply this woman, this heart vibrating within the elements. I am a dance to be offered.
There is a lightness in being in that beautiful place within oneself. Six months later, I share this “evidence-dance”: this session with Lauren is a crossroads for me. From this time gifted to me with old thread, I have knitted something new—that which was already there but needed a counterpoint, a new perspective, an active suspension within reality. Such is the magic of photography when the photographer’s gaze comes from the heart, from that which is greater than ourselves and moves us. Then true light can nourish the life within us and around us (...)"
- Dominique (Haute-Savoie)
"Working with Lauren was such a wonderful experience. She has a grounded, soulful presence behind the lens, which allowed me to feel comfortable, seen, and celebrated as I expressed my true self. The photos she took of me in Bali’s gorgeous natural surroundings are pure magic—full of light, emotion, and spirit. Her eye for beauty is exquisite, and I’m deeply grateful for the way she captured my essence and transformed it into visual art."
- Astaria (Ubud, Bali)
"I was really looking forward to this morning with Lauren, and it was everything I hoped it would be! Being in front of the camera is quite an experience: she was able to find the right spot in no time, put me at ease, and capture my expressions. What talent, what an eye, what sensitivity :)"
- Nathalie (Lake Annecy)
"I went into the photoshoot feeling very hesitant and a little insecure, since I consider myself to be quite awkward. Thanks to Lauren's encouragement and guidance, I became more and more comfortable and started to feel more like myself. I really enjoyed how she was able to bring fun and lightheartedness to the day while still remaining professional and focused."
"I was completely blown away after seeing the photos. It's a truly unique experience to see different sides of yourself through someone else's lens. I felt like my true self had been captured so beautifully and powerfully—I'm so grateful for this experience!"
- Valery (Ubud, Bali)
"I had the opportunity to take photos in the great outdoors with Lauren. It’s easy to feel at ease because her approach is so gentle and caring. ‘Seeing yourself in a new light’—a truly wonderful experience! I highly recommend her sessions."
- Tuscany (Haute-Savoie)
"A wonderful experience filled with kindness, professionalism, and warmth. A photo shoot to capture my pregnancy. The results truly reflect who we are. Although I’m not usually comfortable in front of a camera, the session ended up feeling very smooth and natural. Lauren is a great listener, discreet, attentive to how we’re feeling, and truly talented at making sure we have an unforgettable experience! You can really see that in the photos!"
I have complete confidence in Lauren and her work.
A big thank you... The content, the style—it’s all there, and that’s rare. THANK YOU."
- Maëva (Lyon)
"This photo shoot was like a love letter to my body. It was magical—there was a slightly mystical atmosphere. I really felt like I was living in the moment, rather than worrying about looking good or feeling the pressure of a photo shoot."
- Marie (Lake Annecy)

It brings me so much joy; you really captured so many gorgeous moments. AWESOME!"
- Tanya (in Corfu, Greece)
"Lauren is kind, caring, and a good listener. She put me at ease, allowing me to celebrate myself during the photo shoot. I love her natural, luminous style, but above all, I love the thoughtfulness she puts into every shot. Thank you again, Lauren, for this moment frozen in time."
- Cindy (Haute-Savoie)

each session is a co-creation, a moment to slow down, feel, and let your essence emerge

it is a sensitive and guided space, where the image becomes
a tool for reconnection, transformation, and self-expression

nature

Currently, this immersive experience that I invite you on is located between Carnac and Quiberon (Morbihan, France), between sacred land and ocean.
My approach is anchored in nature, reality, uncontrolled movement, and sometimes discomfort (the wind, the water, the cold); it is precisely within these elements that the masks fall, the mind lets go, and the living essence appears. In fact, in all of these photos, most of the people guided had never posed before a camera. The experience is designed to offer a framework of trust that is gentle, respectful, and safe. I choose places that vibrate with a beautiful energy, with a very special affection for the seashore and aquatic environments.
The landscape is not just a backdrop to "look pretty." Body and environment form a unity. We enter the forest or the ocean as we would a sacred space, a supportive space of non-judgment. Nature offers an energy that allows reconnection to one's original vibration. Because we are nature. As such, I will invite you to honor the place through a simple ritual, an offering.
A sensitive, unique, and holistic experience,
a different perspective,
a love letter to oneself,
a celebration,
a ritual...

Will it be canceled if it rains?

Did you know that overcast weather is ideal for portraits? The clouds act as a natural diffuser, softening the features much more than midday sun. But don’t worry—I always keep an eye on the weather and will check in with you 24 to 48 hours before the session. If heavy rain is forecast, we can discuss rescheduling to another time slot, either on the same day or later. However, my approach is to capture the harmony between the body (and animals) and the natural environment, regardless of the weather. Let’s make the most of it!

What if I don't feel comfortable in front of the camera?

That’s normal. And showing vulnerability takes courage! For most of the women I’ve worked with during photo sessions, it was their first time. And at the end of each session, they were surprised to find it much easier than they’d expected. Maybe because putting you at ease is part of my job? I’m here to create a safe space and guide you gently. We’ll go at your own pace, and remember, there’s nothing you have to do. My approach isn’t that of a fashion photographer with staged poses. In the natural setting of your choice, we’ll observe, meditate, dance, take a stroll, and let ourselves be carried along by whatever comes our way. In short, we’ll have fun!
How should a pregnant woman prepare?
During the session, your hands—resting on your rounded belly—are often in the camera’s view. So be sure to take care of your nails and skin (apply a little cream to dry skin for the best results). Also, your skin tends to show marks quickly. Avoid wearing underwear that’s too tight—or better yet, don’t wear any at all before the session—to prevent red marks on your body.
Finally, I recommend choosing fairly form-fitting outfits that highlight your belly. Preferably solid-colored clothing in light tones, with few large patterns (especially if you like black-and-white photos).
Find more tips in the question "How should I dress...?"

What to wear, and how many outfits?

Choose clothes that you like, that you feel comfortable in, and that flatter you! You can plan on bringing two different outfits if you’d like to vary your styles (there won’t be a dedicated changing area—just the privacy of a small spot in nature).
Opt for solid colors rather than too many patterns, which can distract from your face (especially if you like black and white), and consider colors that stand out against the backdrop (the blue of the lake, the sky, and the mountains; the green of the vegetation; the yellow of autumn leaves, etc.). Light colors really stand out.
For photo shoots in the water, a long, loose-fitting skirt or dress looks absolutely stunning. I also recommend bringing a scarf and/or a blanket to wrap yourself in, twirl around, etc. Finally, if you’d like to experiment with artistic nudes, avoid wearing underwear before the session—especially a bra. The skin tends to show indentations quickly, leaving unsightly red marks.

What if I really aren't photogenic?

I remember that when I travel, what really strikes me is the harmony of a scene. It’s always there, but sometimes it requires changing your perspective, taking a step back, or looking down from above. It’s the same with portraits. The harmony is already there. My perspective is different from yours in that it involves no judgments or flaws. I guide you in expressing your authenticity. It’s unique, pure, and true. And, of course, it’s beautiful!

I prefer black-and-white photos...

In any case, you’ll receive your selection in both versions—color and black-and-white. However, if you have a clear preference for black-and-white, please let me know before the session! In that case, I’ll focus on composition, make much greater use of highlights, and play with contrasts: the approach to the subject is completely different. With black-and-white, there’s something timeless about it—it brings us back to the essentials, to the subtle. I really love it, too!

What if I don't want to do artistic nude modeling?

This photo shoot is a moment just for you. I will never force you to do anything you don’t want to do. Your privacy is respected at all times. I’d simply like to suggest that you give yourself the chance to open up—just a little. Don’t close the door completely—at least not in your mind. And if the circumstances are right, if trust develops, if you feel like taking one more step in this wonderful challenge you’re setting for yourself, I’ll be there to guide you. And you’ll be there to express what you want to hide, reveal, or create.

How long does it take to receive the photos?

After the photo shoot and an initial selection, I’ll send you the raw photos (with a watermark, not downloadable) via an online gallery within 48 hours. Once you’ve made your selection, it will take up to 10 days to receive the final version, in JPEG digital format, via a Dropbox link. For printed photos (if you’ve chosen this option), it will take 2 to 3 weeks for them to arrive in your mailbox.

Can I get all the photos from the shoot?

A photographer's work doesn't end with taking the picture. Sorting and processing the raw file data takes several hours of work. What the eye sees cannot be captured quite as accurately by the camera (!), which is why it’s necessary to adjust brightness, contrast, colors, and other settings during post-processing. This step is unique to each photographer, much like a signature. I therefore send you a complete and finalized piece of work.

In what format are the photos sent?

The photos are delivered in digital JPEG format, both in high definition (for printing) and in a smaller file size (for web use), via a Dropbox link that is valid for one month.

Can the two of us do the photo shoot together?

For now, I'm limiting these sessions to women only (mother-daughter pairs, sisters, friends).
